Each channel features a bright 10-segment LED level display that provides a clear visual representation of audio signal levels across a measuring range of -20dB to +3dB. The VU meter can operate in either dot mode, where a single LED indicates the current level for reduced power consumption, or bar mode, where all LEDs up to the current signal level illuminate for an attractive full-scale display.
To accommodate a wide variety of audio sources, the WSAH4305 includes adjustable input sensitivity with both low- and high-level input ranges. The low-input setting accepts signals from 150mVrms to 6Vrms with a 47k input impedance, while the high-input range accommodates signals from 1.5Vrms to 60Vrms with a 470k input impedance, making the module compatible with everything from preamplifiers to high-power amplifier outputs.
The kit is supplied with a front panel that supports both horizontal and vertical mounting, providing flexibility when integrating the display into custom equipment, amplifier enclosures, studio racks, or DIY audio projects.
