VOX amPlug 3 US Silver In-Line Headphone Amplifier
Equipped to make your guitar practicing easier than ever, the amPlug 3 US Silver from VOX is the third generation of the celebrated compact amps. Sporting warm dual-channel analog circuitry based on a classic US combo amp sound, with loads of accompaniment rhythms and three expansive stereo FX, amPlug 3 is ready to rock.
The amPlug amps are plugged directly into your guitar and offer the sound and feel of a full-size amp in a pocket-sized form factor. The looks and casing have been improved over previous generations for a more elegant feel. You get a 3.5mm TRRS aux jack for use with smart devices and easy video recording. The amPlug 3 runs on two AAA batteries (included) and delivers up to a maximum of 16 hours of battery life.
Based on the Classic US Silverface Combo Amps
Providing the iconic American amp sound, this version of amPlug 3 is based on the legendary American silverface combo amplifiers. It features two channels, with Channel 1 offering sparkling, glassy cleans and warmth, and Channel 2 delivering a smooth and soft overdrive tone.
Rhythm Function

Available Models
The amPlug 3 line, available separately, includes a number of different amp models, so you can find the ideal companion for your practice style, or grab multiple amps for different moods:
AC30: the well known VOX AC30 sound. CH1 is the warm normal channel and CH2 is the sharp top boost
UK Drive: UK 100W stack amp sound. CH1 has a full vintage sound and CH2 has a sharp distortion sound
US Silver: US combo amp sound, with a clean and warm clean tone on CH1 and a smooth soft drive sound on CH2
Boutique: legendary boutique amp sound. CH1 is a bouncy clean, while CH2 is a bright and silky overdrive sound
High Gain: modern high-gain amp sound, with a sparkling clean sound on CH1 and a sharp, aggressive high-gain distortion sound on CH2
Bass: standard bass amp sound. CH1 has a wide range, CH2 has a fat, punchy overdrive sound. Ideal for pop, rock, and jazz
