How to use detangling spray for dogs

Gather supplies (XPC Vean-Friendly Fur Detangler Spray & Brushes)
First up, grab your XPC detangler spray along with a brush that works for your dog's coat.
Choose a safe spot
Some four-legged friends find grooming stressful. Pick a place where both you and the dog feel comfy, whether it's the sofa, on the floor or in their bed. If you need them at eye level, like at the vet, you can even use the kitchen table. Make sure you can securely hold the dog, keeping them still, without distressing them.
Spray away
Spray the detangler directly onto the dog's fur. For a simple smooth and tidy-up, lightly mist the product all over. If you know there are stubborn mats, focus your efforts there. You can gently massage the product in (without causing more tangles) to kick-start the conditioning.
Start detangling
Once the coat is damp, use your fingers to gently work through the knots. Tease strands apart slowly, bit by bit, without pulling on the fur. Untangling a matted coat takes patience. You don't want to damage the hair, hurt your precious pup or put them off grooming for life. Once you've made progress, you can try using the brush. If you've detangled it well, it should slide through with less friction. If you find it's getting stuck, you can respray and use your fingers again.
