Impasto is an oil painting technique whereby paint is applied in thick layers, to the point where brush or palette knife strokes are visible and create a textured, 3-dimensional effect.

This easy-to-use, fast-drying semi-gloss impasto medium will help retain textures and brush strokes without allowing paint to flatten or yellow - also great for glazing and extending tube colours.
