Activated carbon is commonly used for removing organic elements in water supplies. It’s extremely suitable for water treatment. The active carbon filter can improve taste, and protect reverse osmosis membranes and ion exchange resins from possible damage due to oxidation or organic fouling. Because of it’s multifunctional nature and the fact that it adds nothing detrimental to the treated water.

By carbonization and activation, activated carbon can be made from many substances containing high carbon content such as coal, wood, bamboo and coconut shells. Superior activated carbon displays its performance by the features of specific surface area, adsorption capability, mechanical strength, thermal and chemical stability.
The block structural design provides a high chemical absorption rate.
