Aqua Salveo Micronutrient Fertiliser is a product developed by a South African Company and approved by the South African Bureau of Standard (SABS) and the national Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF) for plant use.

The active micronutrient ingredients of Aqua Salveo Micronutrient Fertiliser are mainly metal salts of Copper (Cu) and Zinc (Zn).

Micronutrients:
Zinc: This is an important plant trace nutrient involved in many components of various enzymatic metabolic reactions that drive several key plant physiological pathways. These include the synthesis of carbohydrate protein, chlorophyll formation and photosynthesis. Zinc is also highly suppressive against fungal and bacterial pathogens.

Copper: Similar to zinc, copper is required for many enzymatic activities in plants including chlorophyll and seed production. Deficiency of copper can lead to increased susceptibility to diseases and lodging in cereal crops due to impaired photosynthetic activities. All these conditions can lead to yield loss in crops.
The combined application of both copper and zinc suppresses toxins produced by soil-borne fungal pathogens responsible for inducing diseases.

Mode of action: Highly bioavailable within the plant compared to conventional fertilisers due to its miniscule concentrations.

Dosage:
5.0 litre of Aqua Salveo Micronutrient Fertiliser treats 25 000 litres of water.
The product can be applied through soil or foliar application.
The product should be applied in combination with other fertilisers, particularly organic fertilisers.
Works best with organic fertilisers.
Application rate: More frequent application during seedling establishment: 1-2 times a week for 4 weeks followed by 1-2 times a month. This rate can be applied throughout the year for perennial crops.
Store in a cool place.
