The CH340G USB to UART / TTL Serial USB Converter is designed to allow simple rapid connection of TTL / UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter) interface devices like microprocessors to a computer for communications and data transfer via the USB bus. Most electronics use TTL / UART for programming, debugging, serial output and more. Generally, computers do not have a serial port anymore. This is where the TTL converter comes in. It is an indispensable tool for debugging various TTL serial devices such as serial WiFi, serial MP3, serial camera modules, and microcontrollers like PIC, ARM, and ESP32.
The CH340G Serial Converter features the 340G chip, the official STC recommended USB to TTL chip. The 4-pin converter connects to the target board via a simple 2.54mm SIL (single inline) header using only a Tx, Rx, and Gnd line. The serial converter has its I/O lines (Tx, Rx) configured to operate at +5V levels. The TTL UART Cable is useful wherever you need to communicate with a TTL Serial device.
