A granular bait for the control of snails and slugs.

How does it work?
The active ingredient in snailban, metaldehyde, causes snails and slugs to produce excess mucus. This excess mucus production is a detoxifying reaction which depletes their energy reserves and weakens them. Cell membranes are damaged and mucus cells are irreversibly destroyed, resulting in the desiccation and death of snails and slugs. They cannot recover by taking in moisture after this process has taken place.

Where can it be used?
Gardens, agricultural and horticultural crops as well as in containerised production nurseries.

Active ingredients:
– metaldehyde 30 g/kg (caution / versigtig)
– carbaryl 20 g/kg (caution / versigtig)

use only as directed:

situation: around vegetables, ornamentals and fruit.
Pests: snails and slugs
comments: scatter pellets evenly around plants wherever snails and slugs are active. After rain being the ideal time.
Withhold period for fruit & vegetables: do not apply later than 7 days before harvest

Keep children and pets out of treated areas from the start of application until the applied product is no longer visible

Precautions:
– avoid excessive contact with the skin.
– wear rubber gloves when applying by hand.

– destroy empty container by perforation and flattening and never use for any other purpose.
