This dual display docking station adds dual HDMI monitors, with resolution support up to 4K (3840 x 2160) on one display and up to 2K (2048 x1152) or 1080p on the other display.
N.B. HDMI through DisplayPort Alt mode supports 4K @ 30 Hz (PLEASE NOTE: If your laptop or device does not support this DisplayPort Alt mode then only one HDMI port will work, please check your device before buying this item)
You can also use your laptop screen for three displays in total, making it easy to access multiple applications at once.
This USB 3.0 docking station comes equipped with all the connections you need including three USB 3.0 ports, a RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port, memory card reader/writer, combo audio jack, and a USB-C port supporting up to 100W Power Delivery. Notes:
– A 4K-capable display is required for obtaining the 3840 x 2160 resolution
– If connected to a USB 2.0 host port, or if using a USB 2.0 host cable, performance may be limited
– The dock can connect to a USB-C port that doesn’t support Power Delivery but it will not pass power through the connected device
– If you are using a high-powered USB device, attach a USB-C power adapter to the power delivery port for optimal performance
– To ensure files copy completely, do not remove the USB-C power adapter while copying files. For maximum performance, use a computer and USB-C power adapter equipped with PD 3.0
– We advise no more than one (1) bus-powered/portable external hard disk drive to be connected to the USB hub at a time
