This outdoor expert sets your terrace perfectly in the scene: Whether in trendy grey or noble red-brown – extremely durable DeckFinish Color defies all weather conditions, is slip-resistant and chlorine-resistant. Thanks to its quick and easy application, the robust surface protection also reduces working time.

Range of use:
Suitable for wooden terraces and decks in outdoor areas.

Application
Optimum processing conditions at +15°C to +25°C, relative humidity 40% to 75%, material temperature +15°C to +25°C
Do not apply to surfaces exposed to hot or strong sunlight, as the applied coating may dry too quickly. Do not apply if rain is expected within 3 hours of application.
If in doubt, create a test area to determine compatibility, adhesion and appearance. The results may vary depending on the type of wood, especially with oily and resinous woods.
Shake the contents well.
Transfer material to a LOBATOOL varnish bucket before applying.
Avoid drops falling on the surface, smooth out any drops directly with a brush.
Observe general and, if necessary, product-specific occupational health and safety regulations.

The product is ready for use and must not be reduced!
Application tool/application rate
LOBATOOL oil brush, soft brush / 100-120ml/m². Actual material consumption may vary depending on the type of wood,
wood moisture and the weathering condition of the surface. With strongly weathered surfaces, a significantly higher
material consumption must be expected.

Drying time
Overworking after 2-3 hours, within 24 hours.
Light use after drying overnight.
Full load capacity after 48 hours.

Pre-Treatment
Recommended is the pre-treatment with LOBADUR DeckPrepare to optimize the adhesion properties and to counteract
wood graying.

Preparation:
Initial treatment
Prepare the substrate according to the specifications for “old used decks” or “newly installed decks” in the technical information for the LOBACARE DeckDegrayer product.
Apply LOBADUR DeckPrepare according to the technical information.
Drying 1 hour. Wait for complete drying
Apply LOBADUR DeckFinish Color
Drying min. 2 hours
Apply the second layer of LOBADUR DeckFinish Color

Follow-up treatment
Basic cleaning with LOBACARE DeckDegrayer according to technical information about the product
Apply LOBADUR DeckPrepare according to the technical information.
Drying 1 hour. Wait for complete drying
Apply LOBADUR DeckFinish Color
To maintain the visual value of the decking in the long term, we recommend an annual basic cleaning and recoating of the
decking.

General guidelines
Drying time: The indicated drying times are valid for +20°C and 50% relative humidity, and assume careful, draught-free ventilation of the working area. Lower temperatures, higher relative humidity or poorer ventilation lead to longer drying times. Do not apply any protective coverings or wet clean the surface until full curing is achieved. Use of LOBADUR DeckFinish Color without LOBADUR DeckPrepare: Basically LOBADUR DeckFinish Color can be used without LOBADUR DeckPrepare. The use of LOBADUR DeckPrepare significantly improves the adhesion properties of the finish to the substrate and increases application safety.
