Mixx Cement Colour Binder 500ml – Popcorn

Mixx Cement can be used on various surfaces like, melamine counter tops, over old tiles on walls, in showers and many more. In uncertain times more and more people want an inexpensive durable alternative where they do not have to completely redo areas of concern in their home, they can use a fabulous coating like Mixx cement and breath new life into their surface, giving the aesthetic appearance of style, design and opulence.

Mixing:
Shake bottle prior to using with Mixx Cement Powder.

Application Instructions:
Apply 2-3 very thin coats in windscreen wiper movements, cross hatching to create movement. Allow 6-12 hours between coats, weather dependent. Uneven surface may require more coats to achieve a smooth even surface. Final coat should be “burnt” using Mixx Cement Trowel set to achieve a mottled troweled finish.

Surfaces:
– Raw Cement
– Previously Painted walls & floors
– Tiles
– Wood

Spread Rate:
Approximately 7m2 per kit (Mixx Cement Colour Binder + Mixx Cement Powder) per coat, surface dependent

Curing & Sealer:
It is important to note that cement must cure for a minimum of 48 hours or longer to achieve the necessary strengths prior to sealing.
– Curing time between coats: 4-6 hours (weather dependent)
– Final curing time: minimum 48 hours

DO NOT COAT THE SURFACE IF:
– Substrate has more than 5% moisture
– Extreme humidity or freezing conditions
