Recent RS-38M Handheld Marine VHF Radio with DSC and GPS

The handheld marine VHF radio for surfski, SUP and kayak paddlers, featuring built-in DSC and GPS. Also well suited for yachting, ski boats and shipping.

The Recent RS-38M makes it possible for you to stay in touch with your buddies and to be able to contact surrounding vessels and rescue services and send a DSC (text) message with the touch of one button, including sending your GPS location.

Waypoints can be pre-set and the navigation screen shows bearing, distance and speed towards the waypoint. Can be used as a navigational aid for yacht racing or for safety in poor visibility. The RS-38M can also request GPS position from other vessels and navigate towards them.

Our radio's are ICASA approved and legally compliant for operation in South Africa.
