Rutin is a bioflavonoid related to quercetin and hesperidin found in both citrus and non-citrus fruits, as well as other foods such as buckwheat. It’s made from a natural source, to give you an excellent antioxidant benefits and an important antioxidant bioflavonoid (a type of water-soluble plant pigment), which has similar benefits to vitamin C. Rutin is a powerful combatant of free radicals and prevent oxidative stress. Side effects and Interaction
Rutin is generally well tolerated by most adults. Side effects might include headache or stomach upset. Rutin might reduce blood sugar in some people it might interfere with blood sugar control during and after surgical procedures. Stop using Rutin at least two weeks before a scheduled surgery. Taking Rutin along with diabetes medications might cause blood sugar to drop too low. Monitor your blood sugar closely.
