Instructions
1. Download the eWeLink app from the Play Store and create an account.
2. Connect your WiFi light switch to the correct wires. Note: If a neutral wire is not found in your home, you may require an electrician’s assistance.
3. Press and hold the gang button on the device for 7 seconds until you hear a single beep followed by a double beep. The WiFi button will flash in a sequence of flash, flash, pause.
4. Continue holding the button for an additional 7 seconds after the double beep. You will hear another beep followed by a double beep, and the WiFi flash sequence will change to continuous flashing.
5. Open the app and choose the option to add a device. You will see two options: “Quick Pairing Mode” and “Compatible Pairing Mode.”
6. Start with Quick Pairing Mode. If the device isn’t detected, try using Compatible Pairing Mode instead.
7. If the device still isn’t adding, try using another phone. Sometimes, certain phones may have applications or settings that interfere with the pairing process. Using a different phone on the same eWeLink profile often resolves this issue.
8. If the device adds but shows as offline, it could be due to problems during the pairing process. Try adding the device again, and if it was added using Quick Pairing Mode, switch to Compatible Pairing Mode this time.
9. If the device remains offline, it may be due to router settings or having too many devices connected to your router. You can confirm this by checking your router settings or reducing the number of connected devices.
10. By following these steps, you should be able to successfully install and pair your device with the app.
