Flax Seed Oil comes from flaxseed (Linum usitatissimum). It is a good source of the omega fatty acids, especially the essential omega-3 fatty acid called alpha-linolenic acid, which seem to decrease swelling. People use it for conditions that involve inflammation, such as rheumatoid arthritis and neuropathy (nervous system illness). Flaxseed oil is also used for heart disease, high blood pressure, high levels of cholesterol or other fats (lipids) in the blood (hyperlipidemia), and many other conditions.

Directions for use:
Flaxseed oil is natural and safe to use. Adults may supplement up to 2000mg daily for up to 6 months. Most people use 1000mg daily (one soft gel).
