The smart light switch requires both a live (red) wire and neural (black) wire. Most houses in South Africa don’t come with neutral wires in the light switch box, so you will need an electrician to pull through a neutral wire from the ceiling. This is usually a quick and easy job for an electrician to do, but please be aware that the light switch will not work without the neutral wire.
