What is kratom?

Kratom is a tree making up part of the coffee family. It has been in widespread use in and around Southeast Asia for thousands of years, where it is used as an energy tonic, mood booster and pain reliever. Kratom leaves contain mitragynine, a molecule that interacts with several neurotransmitter systems – increasing energy levels and motivation while also eliciting a sense of peace and relaxation.

Usage Instructions

If you’re new to kratom, start out with 2 capsules (1 gram). Dosage can then be increased up to 4 capsules twice daily. When taken on an empty stomach (recommended), effects should be felt within 20 minutes.

Kratom is Versatile

Kratom’s effects vary depending on the dosage. It is energizing in low doses, and more calming at higher doses. The strain of kratom also influences its effects – white kratom is the most energizing strain overall, while red is the most relaxing. Green kratom is more multi-purpose, striking a balance between the two.
