This 125kHz RFID access control reader is a card-reading tool for door entry, attendance terminals, and multi-door controllers, built for installers and facility managers who already own a separate access controller. It reads EM ID cards such as TK4001 and EM4100 at 125kHz, outputs Wiegand 26 or Wiegand 34 data, and does not store user data itself. The sealed PVC and resin adhesive body resists dust and moisture, so you can mount it outdoors in rain or dusty yards. The embedded micro-controller decodes a card in under 0.5 seconds at a read range of 0mm to 100mm, and it operates from -25 degrees C to 75 degrees C. Two LEDs show status: blue for standby, green for a successful read. Because it transmits Wiegand data 100M or more, you can route signals across larger buildings to a standard controller. Install it on wood, concrete, or brick, or set it on a table. Keep it at least 0.3 m from other readers and 10 cm from large iron or steel, since metal and nearby units reduce read range. This reader suits wood, brick, concrete, or tabletop mounting and is not a standalone keypad: it cannot add card, password, or fingerprint users on its own, and it needs an access controller, attendance terminal, or multi-door controller. Power off before installing or disassembling. Card type, metal nearby, and reader spacing all affect read distance. If a card stays in the sensing area, the reader sends no data. Specifications:
