The 1590WJ Diecast Aluminium Watertight Enclosure is a durable housing solution designed for electronic instruments and sensitive components. Constructed from rugged diecast aluminium alloy, it is tough yet easy to machine for modifications.
Its lap joint construction ensures excellent protection against dust, splashing water, and improved EMI/RFI shielding. This watertight version is fitted with a silicone gasket (supplied loose inside the enclosure), meeting IP65 standards for reliable environmental sealing.
The enclosure has a smooth vibra-finished surface with no sharp edges and comes complete with screws threaded into factory-tapped holes for secure assembly.
