The 1598BBBK is a flame-retardant ABS desktop instrument enclosure designed for housing printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies. With external dimensions of 179 x 154 x 36 mm, it is ideal for compact instrumentation and control systems.
Constructed from UL94 V-0 rated flame-retardant ABS plastic, this enclosure meets IP54 for protection against dust and splashing water. It features two sets of vertical 1.5 mm PC board guides molded into the front and rear halves of the case, as well as integral horizontal card mounts designed for Eurocard spacing.
Front and rear panels are made from 1.6 mm brushed aluminum and are protected with removable paper film. The enclosure halves are securely assembled using M3 x 10 mm Phillips machine screws threaded into brass bushings, allowing reliable performance with repetitive assembly and disassembly.
