- Preparation: Before you begin, ensure the leather surface is completely free of dust, oils, and grease. Remove any factory finisher by wiping the area down with Angelus Preparer & Deglazer. Allow to dry completely.
- Painting: Stir or shake your paint bottle thoroughly before use. Apply the paint in thin, even layers. Do not apply it too thick, as this can lead to cracking. Allow each layer to dry for 10 to 15 minutes before applying subsequent coats. Repeat until you achieve uniform opacity.
- Curing: Let the finished project dry and cure for at least 24 hours before wearing, bending, or exposing it to heavy use.
- Finishing (Optional): For enhanced scratch protection or to adjust the gloss level, apply 1 to 2 light coats of Angelus Acrylic Finisher once the paint is fully dry.
