The ASUS RT-AXE7800 is a Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6E home router for connected households that need separate 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz wireless capacity, AiMesh expansion and multi-gigabit wired networking. Its AXE7800 configuration supports up to 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, 4804 Mbps on 5 GHz and 2402 Mbps on 6 GHz. Six external antennas, 4x4 transmission on 5 GHz and 2x2 transmission on the 2.4 GHz and 6 GHz bands support its wireless architecture. AiMesh provides wireless or Ethernet backhaul options when connecting compatible ASUS routers, including use of the 2.5G WAN/LAN port for a multi-gigabit wired link. A 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, 512 MB DDR4 RAM and 256 MB flash support network operations. AiProtection, WPA3, parental controls, guest networks, traffic management, VPN features and USB applications provide configurable security, access and network management functions.

HOW TO USE

Connect the supplied power adapter to the router and a mains outlet. Connect the modem or internet source to a WAN/LAN port using the supplied RJ-45 cable. Connect a phone or computer to the router, then use the ASUS Router app or ASUSWRT Web GUI to open Quick Internet Setup, configure the internet connection, create the wireless network names and set the required passwords.
