The included baby mask can be used from 6 months of age.
The nebuliser can be used from birth with the purchase of the baby mask for infants 0-36 months of age (sold separately) and only where medically appropriate as advised by a healthcare professional.
IMPORTANT USAGE NOTES
USB powered, not rechargeable - this device must be connected to a power outlet via the included mains adapter to operate; it does not run on battery power.
Not for continuous use - switch off for 30 minutes after every 30 minutes of operation.
Hold the atomiser upright during treatment for proper function.
Only use isotonic saline or doctor-prescribed medication - avoid essential oils, cough syrups or gargling solutions, as these can damage the device and, in sensitive individuals, may trigger breathing difficulties.
Mouthpiece use gives the most effective nebulisation; masks are best for children not yet able to use a mouthpiece. It is essential that the mask fits correctly (per the instruction guidelines) for effective nebulisation.
Clean after every use and disinfect after the last treatment of the day, for hygiene and best performance.
Replace the air filter after approx. 100 operating hours or one year and check regularly for dirt or damage.
Electromagnetic compatibility: avoid operating this device directly next to or stacked with other electronic devices, including mobile phones as this may affect performance.

SPARE PARTS & ACCESSORIES
For optimal performance, replace the atomiser and accessories every 12 months. Regular use and cleaning cause natural wear, which may reduce aerosol quality and treatment effectiveness. Always use genuine Beurer replacement parts. The Beurer IH 58 Kids Year Pack (sold separately) provides all the essential replacement accessories.
The IH 58 Kids Nebuliser includes a silicone baby mask, suitable for babies from approximately 6 months, as well as a children's mask. The silicone baby mask is also included in the IH 58 Kids Year Pack.
For younger infants, the Beurer Baby Mask (60131) is available separately. Compatible with the IH 58 Kids and other selected Beurer nebulisers, it is suitable for babies and toddlers from birth to 36 months (0-3 years).
