Tips for Accurate and Reliable Measurements

1. Consistent Monitoring & Preparation:

• Measure twice daily (morning and evening) at the same time each day.
• Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Wait 30 minutes after eating, smoking, drinking, or exercising.
• Avoid stress and allow 5 minutes between repeated measurements. Repeat if results seem unusual.
• NB: Keep the device away from strong electromagnetic fields (like mobile phones) while in use.

2. Proper Cuff Placement:

• Use the arm with historically higher BP readings, and always use that same arm.
• Position the included cuff 2-3 cm above the elbow, directly over the artery.
• Ensure tight clothing does not restrict blood flow. Use only genuine Beurer cuffs.

3. Correct Posture:

• Sit upright with your back supported and rest your arm on a solid surface.
• The cuff must be at heart level for an accurate reading.
• Keep your feet flat, remain still, and avoid talking during the measurement.

Important Safety Warnings
