This is the 9th batch of Blended Whisky #1 released by award-winning independent whisky bottler, That Boutique-Y Whisky Company, and this time its been made exclusively with a secret blend of single malt and single grain Scotch whiskies aged for at least 40 years! Blended Whisky #1 has been blended to deliver a luxurious rounded mouthfeel. Impressive as ever, this stuff. And only 267 bottles were produced.
The label features a giant space sphere, completely smooth and free of any spikey bits... Just like the whisky itself...
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Nutella chocolate hazelnut spread on brioche, juicy red apples and a drizzle of honey.
- Palate: Dates, gingerbread, honey, more red apple sweetness, balanced by mature malt and cigar box richness.
- Finish: Incredibly smooth, lingering, toasted brown sugar, caramel, chocolate & coffee notes.
