The Dupont FilmTec BW60-1812-75 75 GPD Residential Water (Reverse Osmosis) RO Membrane is a part of Dupont's FilmTec reverse osmosis (RO) membrane range, ideal for your home drinking water treatment these reverse osmosis membranes are some of the most reliable and consistent elements in the industry.

Expertly engineered to fit most domestic RO systems, this high quality membrane is designed for those seeking uncompromised water purity. Certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 58, it ensures reliability and performance, making it an ideal replacement for any standard 1812 size membrane unit.

This Reverse Osmosis (RO) membrane is designed to reduce a wide array of contaminants including chlorine, lead, fluoride, and other dissolved solids to deliver safer, cleaner and better-tasting water. The semi-permeable membrane works by allowing only water molecules to pass through, while blocking dissolved salts, minerals and other unwanted organic and inorganic compounds. Due to the small pore size of the membrane, many types of bacteria, viruses and other micro-organisms are also unable to pass through.

The Dupont FilmTec BW60-1812-75 RO Membrane delivers up to 75 gallons per day (280 litres per day), equivalent to approximately 11.7 litres per hour, providing you ample clean water for drinking, cooking and other household uses. This membrane meets rigorous health and safety standards, ensuring the membrane effectively reduces contaminants and is safe for use with an average longevity of 12 to 24 months (depending on usage and incoming water quality), reducing the frequency of replacements.

Advanced membrane technology and automated fabrication allow Dupont to precisely produce each and every element to tight, pre-defined specifications. Dupont's advanced and consistent RO element quality helps customers develop, and maintain brand recognition along with a reputation for building systems that reliably provide low impurity drinking water.

Dupont Filmtech elements are shipped dry for convenient handling and long shelf-life. Dupont's next generation elements are a fully compatible replacement for existing Dupont FilmTec residential RO elements.

It is recommended that systems using these elements rinse the elements for 24 hours, prior to first use, to meet NSF/ANSI 58 Standard. The first full tank of permeate must be discarded. Do not use this initial permeate for drinking water or food preparation.
