Payment is made by credit card, which makes real shopping noises when inserted into the terminal, or - without any pulling or touching - with the contactless payment function: Simply enter the amount, confirm, hold the credit card to the side of the terminal, enter the pin, confirm, and the payment is successful. This leaves more time for friendly customer conversations about the weather, merchandise, and well-being, which in turn trains the little cashiers' imagination and communication skills.
