- Melamine vs Ceramic: Melamine is lighter, shatterproof, and chip-resistant, while ceramic is fragile and heavy. Ceramic can go in oven/microwave; melamine is heat-resistant up to 120 C but NOT for oven or microwave.
- Melamine vs Plastic: Melamine looks more premium with a ceramic-like gloss, more durable, and resists stains/odours, whereas ordinary plastic often looks cheap, scratches easily, and may warp with heat.
Best for daily use, families with kids, and outdoor dining - elegant yet worry-free.
