The Modal Serie is NanJiren's latest innovation of 2024.

Modal fabric is a bio-based fabric that is made from spinning beech tree cellulose. Modal is generally considered a more eco-friendly alternative to cotton because beech trees don't require much water to grow and therefore the production process uses about 10-20 times less water.

Is modal better than cotton?
Both modal fabric and cotton are known for their breathability and moisture-wicking properties. However, modal fabric tends to be more effective at wicking away moisture and keeping you cool and dry. This is because modal fabric is more absorbent than cotton, meaning it can hold more moisture without feeling damp.

The materials they are made of are highly-breathable. It keeps things down there feeling cool, which is especially nice when it's hot out or you are doing something that involves lots of energy output.
