Born from a happy accident of blending, this tea has become one of Nigiro's most treasured discoveries. The rare Tibetan Snow Chrysanthemum meets the indigenous South African honeybush in a pairing that feels both unexpected and perfectly natural. Their union creates a cup that is fragrant, soothing and alive with subtle sweetness.
The chrysanthemum brings floral depth and a gentle spice, while honeybush adds warmth, roundness and a soft woody sweetness. Together they harmonise in a golden infusion that feels like a celebration of two distant landscapes finding one voice.
This is a tea for dreamers and quiet evenings, a companion to reflection and serenity. It captures the essence of the golden hour and invites you to drift peacefully into rest.
Serving suggestion:
We recommend brewing honeybush tea with water at around 100 degrees Celsius. Steep the herbs for approximately 3 minutes, then taste to see if the strength suits your preference. If you desire a stronger brew, you may steep it for another minute or two. Use a teapot with an infuser for best results. If a teapot is not available, an infuser ball, infuser cup, or a fine mesh strainer will also work well. For each serving, use about 3 to 4 grams of herbs, or roughly one teaspoon. This infusion may be steeped a second time; simply extend the brewing time to draw out the remaining flavour.
