You Are a Beginner Surfer
If you surf occasionally, mainly during holidays or trips, and prefer small, gentle waves where you can touch the bottom, this range is designed for you. It takes into account your occasional practice and body shape.

How to Choose Your UV Protection T-Shirt (Part 1)
All UV-resistant t-shirts are UPF 50+, offering maximum sun protection. The choice depends on sleeve length and usage. The most significant constraints occur in surfing, so the range is designed primarily for surfers.

How to Choose Your UV Protection T-Shirt (Part 2: Duration of Session)

1 Hour: For occasional use. Choose between a loose fit for ease of dressing and comfort when dry, or a fitted cut for comfort when wet. The loop system attaches to shorts for stability.
2 Hours: For regular use. Seamless panels under the arms and a drawstring improve comfort and stability.
3 Hours: For intensive use. Offers additional warmth for extended sessions.
UV Protection Even When Wet
The OLAIAN anti-UV fabric blocks at least 98% of UVB and 95% of UVA rays (UPF 50+). This protection is effective both in and out of water and remains durable even after washing. Note: Elastane in the fabric may degrade in chlorinated water.

What Does UPF 50+ Mean?
UPF (Ultra Violet Protection Factor) is a global standard indicating how much UV radiation the fabric blocks. UPF 50+ means at least 95% of UVA and 98% of UVB rays are blocked.

Reduced Chafing
Designed to limit rubbing against surfboards or bodyboards, and can be worn under wetsuits to reduce neck and armpit chafing. For sessions over one hour, the UV Top 500 is recommended due to its seamless panels under the arms.

Support System and Stability in Waves
A front loop attaches to swim shorts to prevent the t-shirt from riding up. For sessions exceeding one hour, the UV Top 500 with a drawstring at the hips is recommended for better stability and comfort.

Multi-Watersports Compatibility
These UV tops cater to demanding surfers and are also suitable for swimming, kite surfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, water skiing, sea wading, and stand-up paddleboarding.

Behaviour When in the Sun
While the t-shirt provides sun protection, factors like water and sand reflections, heat, and time of day should be considered. Complement your protection by wearing sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, and staying hydrated.
