These pins are equipped with pearl-like, shiny heads made of plastic in many different colours. The pearl-headed pin's smooth stem, made of hardened steel, can neither break nor bend due to its balanced spring stiffness. Its fine tip easily penetrates any fabric, thereby going easy on the fibres. The striking pearl heads ensure that the nails are well-visible, which ensures that no nails remain in the clothing after sewing the pinned work pieces. Prym offers pearl-headed pins in size 40 mm x 0.58 mm in a plastic canister with gold or silver or colour-sorted heads.
