Here are detailed cleaning and care instructions for a stainless steel fondue set to keep and maintain its appearance and longevity.
Hand wash is preferable. Use a soft sponge or cloth with mild dish soap. Avoid abrasive scouring pads that can scratch the surface. Do not use bleach or harsh chemical cleaners.
Disassemble the set, remove any burner components, pot, forks, stands, and trays before washing. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Never immerse the burner in water.
After each use, let the fondue pot and components cool completely before cleaning. Plunging hot stainless steel into cold water can cause warping or damage. If it is necessary to soak due to hardened cheese, chocolate, or oil, soak the pot in warm, soapy water for 10 - 20 minutes to loosen residue
