Hawkins Chief of Police Jim Hopper's Chevrolet Blazer K5 features in seasons 1, 2, and 3 of the thrilling supernatural mystery drama, Stranger Things. Owned by the Hawkins Police Department, Hopper would use this vehicle throughout the first three seasons to travel to places of interest during his investigations into the disappearance of Will Byers, to explore the tunnels beneath Hawkins, and in an elaborate rescue of Dr Alexie during a Soviet military operation led by soviet soldier and hit man Grigori. During this escape in 1985, the vehicle's engine was badly damaged, resulting in the partial explosion of the vehicle.
