Pretty Mhlongo grew up in a musical family and started singing at a young age, she used to dream of having her own "cassettes" one day and listening to her songs on the radio, not knowing what lay ahead
She won choral awards at school and started singing as a backing vocalist in 2003, after which she joined the choir of the Church on the Hill
Selby Mhlongo, her husband, was the one who took her music career further
He produced her first solo album, Imvuseleo, in 2011
Pretty continued with shows and accepted invitations to perform at different places
Her second album, Season of Worship has been released after she decided to record it live to capture te full experience
