Important Usage & Care Instructions:
Coloring & Chemical Treatments:
- Dyeing: Hair can be dyed darker only (no bleaching or lightening) using a 5 vol developer, semi-permanent color, or henna. Light shades cannot be darkened.
- Professional Advice: To preserve the lifespan and original silky texture, we strongly recommend having any chemical treatments done at a professional salon.
- Chemical Note: The Brazilian Remy range has already undergone color and chemical treatment. Any further processing may shorten its lifespan and alter its texture.
- Avoid: Do not bleach, perm, or use these extensions for semi-permanent bonding/fitting, as these treatments will cause instant damage.
Washing & Maintenance:
- Detangle: Thoroughly brush the hair extensions before washing.
- Pre-Wash: Apply conditioner to the hair length, carefully avoiding the sewn and clip sections (wefts).
- Shampoo: Submerge extensions in warm water mixed with 25-50ml of hair extension shampoo (or sulfate-free shampoo). Add more shampoo if necessary.
- Rinse & Mask: Rinse well, then apply a deep conditioning mask, ensuring you avoid the wefts and clips. Rinse after 30 minutes.
- Post-Wash: Apply a leave-in conditioner and a small amount of argan oil to the hair length and ends.
- Drying: Air dry or use a blow-dryer on low heat.
Lifespan & Suitability:
- Longevity: These extensions typically last between 3 to 12 months, depending on usage and care.
Not Suitable For: These extensions are not suitable for very short hair, pixie cuts, or ethnic hair types.
