Our Tough Roof paint is a 12-in-1 paint as you can paint galvanized roofs, tile roofs, cement roofs, primed downpipes, paving, garden pots, walls, garage doors, palisades, fascia boards, window sills, boundary walls, and much more.

Specifications:

- Drying time (depending on temperature):

- Surface dry: 30 min - 1 hour

- Totally cured: 3 - 4 hours

- Application temperature: 10 - 35 degrees celsius

- Spread rate: 5 - 8m squared/litre (depending on surface)

- Preferably 2 coats required

- Gloss Level: Sheen finish

- On all absorbent surfaces thin down the first coat with up to 20% water

- ToughRoof will adhere to most surfaces without a primer

- It can be directly applied to cement, galvanized roofing, concrete, wallboards/ceilings

- Ferrous surfaces: Remove rust on surface and prime with suitable primer

- Chalky surfaces must be primed with a bonding liquid

- For all oil-painted surfaces use a universal undercoat after surfaces have been cleaned

- Use with a brush, roller, or airless spray

- Clean rollers and brushes with water as soon as done with the painting

For best results on rusted surfaces, it is recommended to first apply Super Platina - Tough Waterbased Primer - Redoxide (Also available on Takealot).

Using our quality red oxide primer improves adhesion, helps prevent rust and corrosion, and provides a stable, sealed base for long-lasting colour and protection. Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from loose rust or flaking paint before priming, and allow the primer to dry completely prior to applying the topcoat for a durable, professional finish.
