Medica General Tonic Plus is designed to treat and prevent bacterial and fungal infections that are harmful to freshwater tropical fish. This tonic should be administered if symptoms of infection on your fish such as ulcers, wounds or white spots are evident. The highly concentrated formula is easy to administer over an 8 day period with a compounding effect that reduces over stressing of your fish. The treatment is not suitable for aquariums with invertebrates and certain species of aquatic plants and activated carbon should be removed during treatment.
