X1007 is designed for data storage purposes and does not currently support booting from HDD/SSD with existing firmware.
New hard drives are not partitioned and need to be partitioned and formatted when used for the first time before they can be accessed in Explorer.
X1007 is a PCIe to dual 2.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD expansion board designed for Raspberry Pi 5. It supports 2 2.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD, providing large-capacity storage and high-speed storage solutions for your for Raspberry Pi 5, giving full play to storage capabilities. The SATA 3.0 interface speed can reach up to 5Gbps.
X1007 is installed on the bottom of the for Raspberry Pi 5 and will not affect the use of GPIO. It is convenient to expand other HATs. In addition, X1007 and the hard drive are powered from the for Raspberry Pi 5 through the 4 pins on the board, simplifying the power supply without the need for extra power.
Compatible with for Raspberry Pi 5B and supports expansion of other HATs of for Raspberry Pi;
Supports simultaneous connection of two 2.5-inch HDD/SSD;
Powered by for Raspberry Pi5 through pogo pins;
Follows PCI-Expressv2.0 specification and backward compatible with PCI-Express v1.0
Supports HAT+STANDBY power state, automatically shuts down SATA devices when Pi5 is powered off;
Supports communication rates of 5.0 Gbit/s, 3.0 Gbit/s and 1.5 Gbit/s;
Compatible with SATA 6G, 3G, 1.5G hard drives;
