X1008 PCIe to 2.5inch SATA HDD/SSD+3.5inch SATA HDD Shield for Raspberry Pi 5 NOT Support Boot From HDD/SSD

X1008 is designed for data storage purposes and does not currently support booting from HDD/SSD using existing firmware.
New hard drives are not partitioned and need to be partitioned and formatted when used for the first time before they can be accessed in Explorer.
Please use a DC 12V power adapter to power both X1008 and Pi5 through DC5521Jack. No additional power supply is required for Pi5 (please note that 3.5-inch hard drives require a voltage of 12V)
X1008 is a PCIe to dual SATA HDD/SSD expansion board designed for Raspberry Pi 5. It supports 1 3.5-inch HDD and 1 2.5-inch HDD/SSD, providing large-capacity storage and high-speed storage solutions for your for Raspberry Pi 5, giving full play to its storage capabilities. The SATA 3.0 interface speed can reach up to 5Gbps.
