The Triple Stage Home Water Filtration is a simple way of removing unwanted particles from the water supply to your home. With this system the Slimline system is pre-built on to a single wall-mountable bracket, making it easy to move and easy to install with just a single inlet and outlet. This system typically filters water at a peak flow rate of 1200 liters per hour.

This filter system includes 3 stages of optimal water purifcation including:

Melt Blown PP (Polypropylene) Sediment Filter: A melt blown sediment filter for the removal of sediment, particles, rust and dust. The Sediment filter is usually the first stage in a water filtration system. It serves to remove visible dirt particles such as mud, rust, and sand from the water. A Melted-spray filter cartridge has a multi-layer structure and is self-bonded, thus not making use of a chemical binder.

Carbon Block Filter: Carbon block filters are made from finely ground activated carbon particles that are bonded together and formed into a solid block under high pressure. Due to their dense structure, they generally have a slower flow rate but provide more comprehensive contact time, allowing for better contaminant removal. The tight filtration structure also enables the removal of smaller particles and impurities due to the fine micron rating.

GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) Filter: Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) has a high surface area, providing a large number of adsorption sites for contaminants; this allows it to effectively adsorb a wide range of impurities, such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), chlorine and odours from your water. GAC is particularly effective at removing organic contaminants from water due to its affinity for organic molecules. It can efficiently adsorb organic compounds, such as; pesticides, herbicides, industrial chemicals, and natural organic matter, improving the taste, odour and overall purity of water.

Keep in mind:

– Minerals and pesticides are too small to be removed by the filters in this filtration unit. These filters do not remove lime, minerals or metals from the water. As a result of this, the water may remain cloudy or tinted, and may not come out crystal clear.

Care Guide:

– The carbon block and sediment filter cartridges need to be replaced every 3 – 6 months, depending on the source water's quality.

– The installation of this system requires some intermediate plumbing knowledge and experience to install the system successfully.

– The filter housings have a maximum operating pressure of 6-bar. If you suspect that your water pressure will at any time exceed 5-bar, a pressure regulator must be installed before the filter housing. This action will guard against the water pressure exceeding the maximum pressure rating. It is recommended that the pressure regulator be set at 4.5-bar psi or less.

– Protect the filter housing from freezing, as this can cause the housing to crack
