MODULEN IBD Powder 400g

• Modulen IBD is a powder formula suitable as a sole source of nutrition for oral and tube feeding.
• It is especially designed for the dietary management of Crohn’s Disease in paediatric (>5 years) and adult patients.
• It is indicated for use in Crohn’s disease either as an alternative to steroid therapy during the active phase or as a supplement during the remission phase or adjunct to medical steroid therapy.
• Contains anti-inflammatory ingredient Transforming Growth Factor-Beta 2 (TGF- 2) to reduce gut inflammation.

• Contains 25% of fat as MCT (Medium Chain Triglycerides).
• Lactose and gluten free.
• Fibre free.
• Meets the RDI for adult patients in 2000 ml per day; for children the RDI is met per volume appropriate for age.

Ingredients:

Glucose syrup, caseinx (milk), sucrose, milk fat, medium chain triglycerides, minerals (potassium citrate, calcium phosphate, sodium citrate, calcium carbonate,

magnesium chloride, potassium hydroxide, potassium chloride, ferrous sulphate, zinc sulphate, magnesium oxide, manganese sulphate, copper sulphate, sodium molybdate, potassium iodide, chromium chloride and sodium selenate), vegetable oil (corn kernel), emulsi fier (soy lecithin), vitamins (C, E, niacin, calcium pantothenate, B6, B1, A, B2, folic acid, K, biotin, D, B12) and choline bitartrate.

Allergens:

• Contains milk and soy.
• Contains transforming growth factor-b2 (tgf-b2) naturally found in cow’s milk.

Usage Instructions:

• As directed by a Healthcare Professional
• 1 kcal/ml: 50 g powder (6 scoops) + 210 ml water = 250 ml
• 1.5 kcal/ml: 75 g powder (9 scoops) + 190 ml = 250 ml
• 1 kcal/ml: 200 g powder (24 scoops) + 850 ml water = 1000 ml
• 1.5 kcal/ml: 300 g powder (36 scoops) + 750 ml = 1000 ml
