The weightlifting belt by yowie supports the core to help lifters perform in the gym. Our tapered belt provides added support to the low back and lower abdominals while preserving mobility. Built to support the back. The 16.5cm padded back panel provides extra support and stability to the lower back and abdominals. Helps lifters improve performance in the gym and reduces injury risk.
Preserves mobility. This tapered belt style measures 12 cm in the front, curves in at the sides of the waist, and offers additional support to the back. The anatomically friendly fit ensures that lifters can move freely while wearing the belt. Added freedom of movement makes the belt ideal for many functional fitness and crossfit training styles, as well as weight lifting movements such as snatch and clean & jerk.

Please note that whilst lifting belts provide support to the core and can reduce the risk of injury, they are not a substitute for proper form or core strength. Never lift when injured. Always lift within your capabilities and skillset. Consider using the belt for heavy sets but removing it for warmups and lighter sets. In this way, you can continue to build core strength and bracing technique, and avoid becoming reliant on a belt.
