Cellini Smartcase 55cm Carry-on Spinner – Black

Cellini’s latest arrival – Smartcase – has been worth the wait. This high-tech soft-side collection has replaced the previous premium offerings from the brand and has not disappointed. A host of features as well as additional business pieces, the collection is well-rounded and an excellent business luggage consideration.

Only premium hardware is used in this collection – double-spinner wheels, zippers, locks and the lightweight multi-stage handle are all top-quality and befit of the expense of the item. The high twill fabric is soft to the touch but lightweight and has a quality look and feel about it.

The 55cm carry-on case gets a USB-port on the TSA lock. This will link up to an onboard powerbank (not supplied) to charge your devices on the go. The carry-on case is the only size in the luggage range that doesn’t have an expander feature – this is to ensure that it is cabin-compliant.

On the inside of the case, Cellini have upgraded their “Inside Story” for the organsiation area on the internal lid. Whilst the main packing space still gets retainer straps, the lid organiser gets a mixture of large and smaller zipper pockets as well as the inclusion of a wetpack pocket for toiletries or items needing to be separated.

With international pricing on such an upward trajectory, the Cellini Smartcase has jumped into a premium offering segment but it is able to maintain its status here. No-fuss looks, good hardware and a 10-year limited warranty to boot all point to a long-life with the brand and it’s faithful followers demanding quality goods at fair value pricing.
