Handcrafted Genuine Leather Backpack

This elegant leather backpack will have all your belongings readily available at any braai, day-trip or festival. Its medium size allows for plenty of space, with out being bulky or in the way.

Features:
– Made from full grain leather. The leather used for this backpack is a combination of vegetable- and chrome tanning processes, which leaves it with a semi-stiff texture (please see below for more information on this leather)
– The whole backpack, plus the straps, are hand stitched
– The shoulder straps are made from the 2cm wide leather strips with supporting materials to avoid stretching
– The bottom is reinforced with cardboard for extra support,
– Security: The closing lid has a turn-lock to keep the lid secure. There is a draw-string closure (below the lid) which will prevent curious hands from exploring your belongs undetected 😉
– This backpack is lined with pig split, which is very soft yet durable, and includes 1 inner pocket and 1 zipper pocket;

All our products are made from full grain leather, which can be identified by its natural markings, including natural scars and tick bites. Each hide that is used to produce a product will have its own unique character and will therefor have different markings and characteristics from the product displayed in the picture of this product listing. The soft leather used for the body of the bag is prone to get superficial scratches, which will rub out when moisturizing the leather. The lid and straps are made from full grain vegetable tanned leather. Please research “full grain leather”, “vegetable tanned leather” and “veg-look leather” to avoid confusion.
