Barn Owl Box

With the assistance of conservationists, we have carefully designed our boxes to best meet the needs of barn owls.

It requires no maintenance and has an extremely long-life expectancy. We have added new features that improve ventilation and drainage. The Box design provides better perching, exercising, and landing opportunities for a pair of owls and their young.

Construction Features:

18mm Marine grade plywood is used in each of our boxes.

The roof structure is clad in galvanized sheeting.

Galvanized screws & Marine adhesive are used to construct the Owl box.

The structure is hot dipped in an environmentally friendly wax-based timber sealer with excellent water repelling properties.

An internal wall in each box gives chicks a space to hide if a predator manages to stick its head or paw through the hole.

Ventilation holes on either side of the box, designed to reduce condensation and keep the owls healthy.

Integrated side access allowing easy cleaning and maintenance.

Sturdy front platform in front of the box allows the Barn Owl to land, eat and pass food on to the chicks.

This barn owl box is suitable for use inside a building such as a barn, or outside, fixed to a tree or pole.

Mounting screws and Pole or Tree are not included
