PFERD Tungsten Carbide Burr Set – 3pc x 03mm diameter ALLROUND Cut

PFERD Tungsten Carbide Burrs are available in a variety of sizes and shapes, and consists of cuts suitable for coarse stock removal to fine finishing on numerous materials. PFERD milling tools are manufactured in compliance with the highest quality standards and offer outstanding quality, a long service life and excellent stock removal rates.

PFERD ALLROUND cut tungsten carbide burrs are specifically developed for versatile use on key materials such as steel and cast steel, stainless steel (INOX), non-ferrous materials and cast steels. The ALLROUND cut offers the same benefits as PFERD’s Cut 3 Plus cut (cross cut), but at 30% faster stock removal rate. The unique tooth geometry reduces the operational noise and vibration and so doing increases the overall operator comfort.

The set contains three ALLROUND cut Tungsten Carbide Burrs in different shapes consisting of a 3mm shank.

Set consist of one Tungsten Carbide Burr of each of the following Shapes and Sizes:
Cylindrical With End Cut (ZYAS 03mm x 13mm x 3mm Shank)
Cylindrical Shape with Radius End “Bullnose” ( WRC 03mm x 13mm x 3mm Shank)
Round Tree Shape (RBF 03mm x 13mm x 3mm Shank)

Operating Instructions:
– Observe the following recommended rotational speed:
Steel and Cast Steel < 38 HRC : 48 000 – 80 000 RPM
Steel and Cast Steel > 38 HRC : 27 000 – 48 000 RPM
Stainless Steel : 48 000 – 64 000 RPM
Soft Non Ferrous Materials : 48 000 – 80 000 RPM
Hard Non Ferrous Materials : 48 000 – 64 000 RPM
Cast Iron : 48 000 – 95 000 RPM

Maximum Overhang = 10mm
Clamping Depth = 20mm
For optimum performance use machines with a power output of more than 300 watts.
Only use machines that are intended for use with the relevant tool.
The burr surface in contact with the workpiece should not exceed 1/3 of the total burr circumference. This will prevent tooth breakage due to excessive vibration and chattering.
Ensure correct and suitable personal protective equipment is worn while using the tool.
Avoid material cross contamination.
