Contains a combination of iron, folic acid, vitamin B12. Citrus flavoured syrup available in 150ml bottles. Lactose, sucrose, gluten and tartrazine free. Suitable for use by vegetarians. SANHA approved. Target patients are persons suffering from iron deficiency anaemia and folic acid or vitamin B12 deficiency.
Dosage:
1ml of syrup is equivalent to 4 mg of elemental iron. Therefore 5ml daily is equivalent to 20 mg of elemental iron. Give 1-3 mg/kg body weight of elemental iron per day.
