Overview:
The solid state relay 40DD (SSR) allows you to control high-current DC loads from lower voltage DC circuits. Solid state relays have several advantages over mechanical relays. SSR's can be switched by a lower voltage and at a lower current than most mechanical relays. Since there is no moving contacts, SSR's can be switched at a faster speed and last longer without wearing out.
