Aluminium Charge Pipe Upgrade Kit Compatible with BMW N55

One of the first and key hardware upgrades for all BMW F series N55 vehicles is the charge pipe. OEM plastic can have issues handling higher turbo boost levels and deteriorates over time breaking the intake manifold connection.

The aluminium charge pipe features a billet aluminium throttle body flange and is finished in powder coated black.The charge pipe retains the c-clip in order to a better seal over a conventional clamp/coupler design.

The pipe is mandrel bent and formed from strong aluminium and can’t flex under high boost pressure. The metal also reinforces the clip junction ensuring the pipe will not become damaged, distorted or otherwise rendered inoperable under boost

This charge pipe installs easily and doesn’t require permanent modification of any joining parts making the install reversible. The transitions and larger interior diameter also help to reduce turbulence and the thick aluminium piping isolates engine heat from the cold charge air, maximising the results of the increased boost pressure
